Hey there! I’m proud to have lived and invested in Abbotsford my whole life. I received a Marketing & Sales Certificate and Public Relations Certificate from UFV and an Event & Conventions Management Diploma from Thompson Rivers University. From working in marketing and sales to being self-employed, I am fortunate to have met and worked alongside many dynamic community members. My connections to the community grew as I worked with individuals, businesses, and non-profit clients to plan their Abbotsford events.
In 2011, I launched PERFECT SENSE EVENTS, which led to even more opportunities to represent and work alongside a variety of organizations including;
Abbotsford Executive Association, Abbotsford Hospice Society, Archway Community Services Society, LIFE Recovery Association, Abilitas Foundation, Abbotsford Restorative Justice and Advocacy Association, Fraser Valley Chartered Professional Accountants Association ABBOTSFORD DIVISION OF FAMILY PRACTICE and Archway Food Bank.
My work with both the non-profit and the corporate sector has taught me how to be fiscally responsible, the importance of relationship building and the value of hard-working community members.
WHEN MY EVENT PLANNING BUSINESS CAME TO A HALT THANKS TO THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC, I EXPANDED MY CONTRACT SERVICES TO INCLUDE OTHER AREAS OF COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS.
Outside of business life, I volunteer at my children’s school and serve as a director with the Fraser Valley Event Professional’s Association and on Tourism Abbotsford’s Events Advisory Committee. I look forward to volunteering as the social media chair for the upcoming 55+ BC Summer Games that Abbotsford is hosting in 2023 and am an active member of the Abbotsford-Sumas Rotary Club.

The communications world is filled with many stressors and unexpected challenges and the ability to put your trust in someone who is truthful and upright is important with a contractor.

Staying organized allows me to multi-task in the role I am in professionally as well as my personal life. For an annual projects to grow from year to year, they must be organized. I remain committed to using critical paths and timelines to do so.
03. LEADERSHIP
Having served on and managed a variety of boards and committees as well as 15 years of leadership experience, I understand the value of having a clear leader when it comes to a project or event. When many stakeholders are involved, a strong leader is what can take something from average to exceptional. Both professionally and personally, I am committed to valuing the leadership roles I am in as well as respecting and honoring leaders I report to.
